Mijnd Huijser is the founder of CMC-Culture & Management Consulting which specializes in challenges arising from the cooperation between North American, European, Japanese and Chinese companies.
Born in 1948 in Jakarta, Indonesia, Huijser is a Dutch citizen and was educated at the University of Nijmegen in Cultural Anthropology and Epistemology. He worked a total of 15 years in trade related positions in South-East Asia, the Middle-East and France, in which he gained considerable experience of international business and intercultural cooperation.
Back in the Netherlands since 1992, Mijnd Huijser has worked as an independent intercultural management consultant. From 1997 until 2000 he joined forces with ITIM Business Culture and International Management. As senior trainer and consultant he specialized in Japanese-European cooperation, international negotiation, and conflict management. Within ITIM he was also responsible for product development, including tailor-made simulations and training material.
