Nirmalya Kumar is Professor of Marketing, Director of the Centre for Marketing, and Co-Director of the Aditya Birla India Centre at the London Business School.
Professor Kumar has taught at Columbia University, Harvard Business School, IMD (Switzerland) and Northwestern University, and has received several teaching awards. He has worked with fifty Fortune 500 companies in forty-five different countries as coach, consultant, seminar leader and speaker on strategy, marketing, branding, retailing and distribution, and has served on the board of directors of Bata India, BP Ergo and Zensar Technologies.
Nirmalya Kumar is the author of numerous papers and articles. His book Marketing as Strategy: Understanding the CEO's Agenda for Driving Growth and Innovation has been translated into six languages and he is currently working on four further books on marketing subjects.
