Ross Campbell is Chief Executive of Ross Campbell and Associates, a Melbourne, Australia-based consulting company that has designed crisis management response and recovery plans and exercises for leading organizations throughout Australia, Asia, Europe, Canada, Mexico and the USA.

The company’s clients have included General Motors, Mitsubishi, Rio Tinto, Toyota, Glaxo Wellcome, Department of Defence, Science and Technology (Australia), Department of Defence (Singapore), and The Australian Antarctic Division.

Ross Campbell is an adviser to some of Australia’s largest corporations, and is a regular speaker at emergency, occupational health and safety, mining and resources, public relations, and product recall conferences. He has lectured in crisis management for the Deakin University MBA and has conducted crisis roundtables for the Faculty of Business and Economics at Monash University. His book Crisis Control – Preventing & managing corporate crises has recently been updated and republished by Penguin.

In this interview, Ross Campbell speaks about the role, scope and goal of crisis management.
